Employment Law Updates - 10/02/2009
Solicitors from Dunham Law addressed the top twenty Human Resource Managers and Directors from some of the largest businesses in Kettering and Corby last week on the occasion of the second Tresham Institute HR Forum.

Partner, Fiona Button, updated the HR Managers on issues that may affect such businesses when outsourcing work and/or changing suppliers and contract staff.

Fiona Button commented “The Law surrounding the transfer of employment from one business to another is continually changing and it is essential that Employers deal appropriately with staff to avoid any unfairness and to minimise the risk of claims being made against them”. Corporate Partner, Douglas Iles, was also on hand to advise the personnel Directors on issues arising over the sale and acquisition of businesses and Companies which also often give rise to Employment Law related issues.
